Electric Cars Kill the Joy of Driving?

The introduction of electric cars kills the joy of driving. That’s an argument raised recently by a lot of car enthusiasts. True, electric cars can feel dull at times, yet the necessities that lies under its appearance outweigh the possible entertainment that people get driving around.

Electric cars seem to shake the unfallable ground that petrol cars have been standing on since the need for fast transportation was conceived as viable. Petrol cars, or cars that run on fossil fuel like gas, diesel or CNG, affect the air around us badly with its exhaust gases. These gases are carbon-rich, and deteriorate our atmosphere’s ozone layer, which, in turn, causes climate change. Climate change can be the biggest threat to our planet for it may very well ignite the fire that initiates the demise of our planet as we know it.

Car enthusiasts, on the other hand, want to stick with their traditional way of transportation as it literally sounds awesome. The internal combustion engine that is located at the heart of modern petrol cars sounds like melody to their ears. It almost feels like music. Electric cars, with their electric motors that run quietly, do not give the same sensation as long as the driving passion is concerned.

Electric car producers have a solution to this problem. They started to implement everything to satisfy customers that we call motor-heads. Electric cars of today are fast, handle like racing cars and look sporty as hell. The sound, however, can be the only feat missing.
